US fest presents ‘Lunch Time’ nod

Internationally acclaimed Iranian film ‘Lunch Time’ has grabbed nod at Nashville Film Festival, the US.

The 49th Annual Nashville Film Festival named Alireza Ghasemi’s ‘Lunch Time’ honorable mention in College Student Short.

The 15-minute ‘Lunch Time’ is about a high school girl who has come to the hospital to identify the body of her mother. The people in charge at the hospital would not let her into the morgue because of her young age.

Notable Iranian film 'Lunch Time' already won an award at the Sarasota Film Festival in the US.

The film won the Shorts Narrative award at the 20th edition of the event.

The Nashville Film Festival, held annually in Nashville, Tennessee, is one of the oldest in the United States.
